Clearly I have an affinity for the beloved classic, Alice in Wonderland. One of my favorite and relatable parts of the classic book is where Alice finds the spades working in a lovely garden. One of the spades was very angry as someone had accidentally planted a white rose in the Queen of Hearts’ garden. The spades were quickly painting the roses red to spare themselves.

Why so Angry? Well, there was a time indeed that I was not happy in life. I was working as a landscape designer and I literally love my career choice, however, I was at a desk more than I had my hands in the soil. I swear I must be part plant. My fingers need to be in the dirt.

My name is Sarah Sella and I started my own business to create more balance in my life and find time to be grounded, while doing what I love.

I majored in horticulture and studied landscape design at Michigan State University. I have a diverse background in the green industry and have worked in the landscape design and construction sector for over 20 years. I have designed and managed the installation of outdoor kitchens and rooftop gardens, but my passion lies with designing and installing planting projects.
